Movies have the power to transport us to another world, envelop us in it and make us feel at home.
It is all too easy to forget this.
@Miramax tweeted this at the weekend – 135 Shots That Will Restore Your Faith in Cinema a video essay by Flavurpill. Beautifully put together, this short video celebrates the magic of the movies. Some of those included are; Melancholia, Baraka, Koyaanisquatsi, Hero and Amelie. Each shot flows into the next and no judgement is passed over the film as a whole. Instead the video simply says ‘Look at this amazing shot’.
