Cinema Review – Damsels in Distress

A group of female college students, led by the self assured Violet (Greta Gerwig), set themselves the goal of improving college life for the entire campus. This consists of running the school’s suicide prevention centre and hoping that tap dance and pleasing scents will lead to rehabilitation of even the most depressed students, as well as shaping up the male students into decent (in their eyes) members of society.
