Beasts of the Southern Wild is the story of a young girl called Hushpuppy (Quvenzhané Wallis), who lives with her father in on the fringes of society in a Louisiana area called The Bathtub. The area is populated with those who have chosen to live outside of the society around them, and they are filled with joy and wonder.
